RESTRICTIONS ON PUBLIC DISPLAY AND REDISTRIBUTION

Use of Darien Communications Cable Television Service for public display or redistribution is not included in our regular rates and is available by special arrangement only. For example, displaying cable television channels in a restaurant or bar for the public to view is considered a public display. Similarly, providing access to cable television channels for motel patrons is considered redistribution. Bulk Rates are available for redistribution. Subscribing to our service at the regular rates includes certain rights and limitations. For example, a business subscriber who pays for the right to watch a Pay-Per-View channel is entitled to do so in a nonpublic area, such as a private office or employee break room. However, it is not permissible to display a Pay-Per-View channel in a public venue, such as a bar or restaurant. We would be delighted to work with your business if you are interested in subscribing to our cable TV service for public display or redistribution. Please contact us for more information.
